Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use Storecraft, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or settings that reduce motion. We work towards Israeli Standard 5568, which follows the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What we have done
The page language is declared, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
Pages are built from standard links, buttons and form fields that work with a keyboard, with a visible outline on whatever has focus, and a "Skip to content" link is the first thing the Tab key reaches.
On phones, every button and link is at least 44 pixels tall, and form fields use text large enough that the phone does not zoom in.
Form fields have labels.
If your device is set to reduce motion, the moving rows of stores and reviews stand still.
Repeated copies of items in the moving rows are hidden from screen readers, so each item is read once.
The store videos have no sound, so nothing is said that you could miss without captions.
What we know is not finished
The site has not yet had a formal accessibility audit.
The animated guides and the demo stores we generate for you have not been checked against the standard yet.
If something here gets in your way, tell us — that is the fastest way for us to find it.
